I’ve got a new website!

After many months in the making, my new website is live! I’m so excited to share it and hear what you think.

We asked you what you wanted to see here and you gave us some great ideas. You’ll now find detailed FAQs, information about arranging school visits and buying signed books, and tons of helpful resources on everything from writing to world travel. You even have your very own Poet’s Corner (start filling those walls, poets! I can’t wait to read your words.).

I can’t begin to tell you how much I’ve enjoyed working with Caitlin at Royal Social Media on this new site. Caitlin and I met a little over a year ago at a local bookstore event when I was promoting Every Last Word. I brought the “Word Wall” and asked everyone to add three words that gave them joy or had special meaning. Caitlin posted this:

An Anchorman reference. I adored her immediately.

And now I know, that in addition to having fantastic taste in film, she’s also an incredibly talented web designer.

I wanted something that pulled all my social media platforms together in one place and made all my content—from my cherished playlists to those oldie-but-goodie blog posts—easy to find. And wow… did she deliver. I love everything about how this site looks and works.

And then there’s that colorful paper swirl typography. Isn’t it extraordinary?

Here’s the story.

Remember this post, where I revealed Hyperion’s new cover for Time and Time Again? Well… we were all captivated by the work of this incredibly talented paper curling artist, Sabeena Karnik, so we brought her back to create a unique look for my site.

Everything here is made entirely out of paper.

I’m so honored to have Sabeena’s artwork gracing the cover of Time and Time Again and my website. Here are some of her work-in-progress shots for this project:

Oh, and… we have some big NEWS! Hyperion just contracted her to design the cover of my next YA novel, Little Do We Know. This book is so special to me, and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with to visually communicate what this story is all about. I’m certain it will be another work of art.
